A review with the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Consumer Protection examined 8 imported samples of 'Dubai chocolate', 5 within the UAE and three from Turkey. It observed that all eight samples ended up regarded as "faulty". 5 with the solutions sampled contained fats in addition to cocoa butter, which is not permitted in items labelled "chocolate"
